On 1 and 2 November 2018, EURALIUS V in collaboration with PAMECA V and the School of Magistrates (‘SoM’) organized a two days training on some amendments to the law ‘On preventing and striking Organized Crime, Trafficking, Corruption and
other crimes through preventive measures against assets’ (Anti-Mafia Law). PAMECA Short Term Expert- Judge of the Court of Appeal of Lecce in Italy, delivered a presentation on the Italian experience on the application of the Ant-Mafia Law and potential improvement of the Albanian Anti-Mafia Law. EURALIUS and PAMECA experts provided guidance regarding interpretation aspects of the law.
Experts from the SoM, presented the new amendments of the Anti-Mafia Law in the framework of the Justice Reform and experiences in the application of the new Anti-Mafia Law. Training took place in Tirana and was attended by 40 magistrates who showed high interest for the topic and extensively participated in discussions.
